Still Here 03:39
All I want to do is love you and to show you that I care. To look over, not above you and give my everything to share. Oh my god what have we done with the world and everyone. Oh my god what has begun for our daughters and our sons. Oh my god there must be one way to extinguish all the fear. I don’t recall what you said Monday but I remember yesteryear. I’m the same boy that you crushed on. The same heart. A different year. I’m the one you taught to slow down so you could feel love. And I’ve got to let you know that I’m still here. There’s not a heaven up above you but there is beauty in the sky. It holds the moon and stars around you. That’s what I see inside your eyes. All I want to do is love you and to show you that I care. To look over, not above you and give my everything to share.

Enzo 04:07
Enzo’s up at dawn each morning to meet the walkers on the street. It’s so early and he’s still yawning. I wonder if there was time to eat. Does he have four thumbs? Is he playing dumb? Is there time to spend? Can he be your friend? Enzo the neighborhood is calling but Enzo is always up to something. Enzo can tell if you’re friend or foe and Enzo will follow you where you go. All of the kids like to talk to Enzo and most of the parents, they trust him too. Just kickin’ around with nowhere to go or positioning for a better view. Does he have four thumbs? Is he playing dumb? Is there time to spend? Can he be your friend? Enzo the neighborhood is calling but Enzo is always up to something. Enzo can tell if you’re friend or foe and Enzo will follow you where you go. All of the town worries about Enzo. They don’t know his past. He doesn’t speak their language. Where does he call home and where does he go? He doesn’t have a phone. You can’t leave a message. Does he have four thumbs? Is he playing dumb? Is there time to spend? Can he be your friend? Enzo the neighborhood is calling but Enzo is always up to something. Enzo can tell if you’re friend or foe and Enzo will follow you where you go.

Time becomes the season and the season is our time to strip away what’s left and then to leave it all behind. To realize the story’s only half of what was read. To stand up in a crowd and then to say what must be said. Here it comes yeah here it comes. Running back to me. Here it comes yeah here it comes. Back where it should be. Second verse you felt the worse was looming overhead. The line you took was off the hook. The bait was over fed. You curled up in a circle like a long, lost rubber ball. You thought that you could bounce back but the ceiling made you fall. Here it comes yeah here it comes. Running back to me. Here it comes yeah here it comes. Back where it should be. Jimmy wasn’t listening when his mother told him watch out for those big blue eyes. And Steph she turned her back on her father when he said the only place for the star’s the sky. Then seven minutes after it started it was over. The only thing left was goodbye. And it wasn’t a good bye. Goodbye. Time becomes the season and the season is our time to strip away what’s left and then to leave it all behind. To curl up in a circle like a long, lost rubber ball. To break another window bouncing high outside the walls. Here it comes yeah here it comes. Running back to me. Here it comes yeah here it comes. Back where it should be.

Cowboy chords. Lonely words. All we’ve ever blundered for. Late night crowd. Way too loud. Break the promises we vowed. And I’d like to thank the DJ for all my requests that played. And I’m telling yer old pal, play some guitar today. Feel offended. But it mended. We are the ones that were befriended. So amused with the paths we choose. Pretending not to be confused. And I’d like to thank the DJ for all my requests that played. And I’m telling yer old pal, play some guitar today. So very proud of your home team and your cheap beer. I get a kick out of watching, second guessing your smile dear. Still I’d like to thank the DJ for all my requests that played. And I’m telling yer old pal, play some guitar today. Play some guitar today.

It doesn’t matter what I hear, I’ll do what you say. Don’t worry ‘bout tomorrow dear. Let’s work it out today. Today, yeah. Today, yeah. Sometimes we want to disappear and other times just stay. Don’t worry ‘bout another year. Let’s make the best today. Today, yeah. Today, yeah. Crawling out of the ocean. Trying to reach the dock of the bay. Working on perpetual motion but it just keeps moving farther away. But I’m, I’m never gonna give up. I’m never gonna give up. I’ll never count the days. And I’ll, I’ll wait until you wake up. I’ll wait until you wake up so you can sleep all day. The future may not look so clear and be that as it may. Don’t worry about all you fear. Let’s live our life today. Today, yeah. Today, yeah. Try to find some elation while you’re focused on the end of days. Whether it’s nuclear proliferation or burning from the sun’s own rays. But I’m, I’m never gonna give up. I’m never gonna give up. I’ll never count the days. And I’ll, I’ll wait until you wake up. I’ll wait until you wake up so you can sleep all day. Yeah.

Get up and walk out and go slam that door. What you said, I don’t care anymore. It will not change the way I feel. Beat up and knocked out, laid out on the floor. What I said you don’t care anymore. It will not change the way you feel. But only a millennial would discount a Millenia and trade it for a slice of time to say “it’s mine”. Your presence online and the faces of friends will not be there to help in the end and it will not change the way I feel. Links that I posted you could not defend, knowing it’s futile before I hit send ‘cause it will not change the way you feel. You think you’re a historian because you’ve read all those books. Sweat equity not required when an app is all it took. Back your convictions with military strength but all the real power is owned by the bank so it will not change the way I feel. The weight that I carry is what I must bear, knowing the best is pretending you care ‘cause it will not change the way you feel.

Until I Die 02:45
Not gonna sing about a train ride. Not gonna try to save your soul. Can’t promise cool breeze and sunshine. Just like the rain, it’s getting old. But I’ll stand by you my love, until I die. Can’t promise all the tea in China. Can’t promise wishes will come true. Not gonna sing about the fire. Just like the world, it’s burning blue. But I’ll stand by you my love, until I die. There might not be much left to read but I will back your nominee with heart and soul. I might not be all that you need but I’ll fight any enemy. Just say the word. Not gonna sing about a train ride. Not gonna try to save your soul. Can’t promise cool breeze and sunshine. Just like the rain, I’m getting old. But I’ll stand by you my love. Yes, I’ll stand by you my love. Oh, I’ll stand by you my love, until I die.

Window 04:07
Separated from the world by a window, where the people walked by, some stopped to say hi and the sun did show. Now I’m not allowed to open the window, To extend a kind hand, share a drink and a plan where we’d like to go. All the seeds that you planted careful by hand covered deep in snow. And you think you’re knocked down but you’re still on the ground hoping they will grow. All your dreams and your plans like your favorite bands broke up long ago. Never made a demand but realized you were stranded long ago.

Carousel 03:24
Carousel Where is, where is my, my carousel? Slide through the hole to a day not forgotten. Mile’s to a pound’s not a price to pay. It’s all for you, water just where you need it. Reach out yourself, hand on a secret. It’s playground smiles and watching the girls go by on my carousel. Dog in the puddle, nothing to take your time on my carousel. Tails on a circle, it makes you so dizzy. Spiral staircase at least goes down. Don’t follow arrows, they have no direction. Find the beginning, go underground. It’s playground smiles and watching the girls go by on my carousel. Dog in the puddle, nothing to take your time on my carousel ‘cept go around and around. Twelve years later I wait on the pavement. Graffiti, exhaust and two parts of town. Something happened I could not explain now I’m stuck in line. Why so much pain? It’s playground smiles and watching the girls go by on my carousel. Dog in the puddle, nothing to take your time on my carousel Where is, where is my, my carousel? Where is, where is my, my carousel? Where is, where is my, my carousel?
